The academic art fair «Art Russia. Classics» gives children the chance to present their work to a wider audience and stand alongside experienced artists. Here, they can gain recognition and feedback from art connoisseurs and professionals.
Artlandia
Somewhere between the world of children’s imagination and the pages of unfinished paintings lies the magical land of Artlandia — a place where characters created with paint and fantasy live.
They sleep quietly during the day, and at night they come to life to help children imagine, dream, and create their own art.

Arty
The Guardian of the Creative Workshop. Smart, kind, and a little naive, he was born from the first stroke of bright blue paint. Artie helps children draw what they dreamed up.

The chief of the Counting Bunnies. A quick and restless fellow, he runs the Magic Meadow, where children count bunnies before bed.

The Wise Guide to the Dream World. She knows all the paths of Artland and helps children choose where they will travel tonight.

The theme of the Children’s Territory is «ARTLANDIA: The Magical Palette of Times»
Each area of the stand is a new stop in time, and each painting is a step in the history of art and the discovery of one’s own creative voice.
Children’s Exhibition Stand Locations:
The Temple of Light—the spirituality and symbolism of ancient Russian art
The Imperial Hall—the grandeur and luxury of the Classical and Empire eras
Russian expanses—landscapes and images of the native land in the works of the Itinerants
Painted Fairytale—folklore, popular prints, vibrant folk traditions and crafts

Historical stylization is a precise reproduction of the techniques and methods of a particular era
Creative interpretation is a new version of a famous painting
Artistic mix is a bold experiment at the intersection of styles
National flavor is a work inspired by the traditions and art of the peoples of Russia

Participation in the exhibition is free.
Applications are accepted from participants up to 17 years old inclusive.
All works must undergo curatorial selection.
Priority is given to students of art colleges, academies and schools.
