Children are the future of art. It’s important to support them early in their creative journey, develop their abilities, and provide them with the opportunity to explore the traditions and heritage of classical art both in Russia and abroad.

The academic art fair «Art Russia. Classics» gives children the chance to present their work to a wider audience and stand alongside experienced artists. Here, they can gain recognition and feedback from art connoisseurs and professionals.

Artlandia

Somewhere between the world of children’s imagination and the pages of unfinished paintings lies the magical land of Artlandia — a place where characters created with paint and fantasy live.

They sleep quietly during the day, and at night they come to life to help children imagine, dream, and create their own art.

Children's Territory Mascots

Arty

The Guardian of the Creative Workshop. Smart, kind, and a little naive, he was born from the first stroke of bright blue paint. Artie helps children draw what they dreamed up.

Klyaksa

The antagonist of Artlandia. He steals animals from paintings.Morose, stubborn, and self-assured. He is not a villain through and through, but a resentful loner who believes that color and imagination are superfluous. Yet, he causes a great deal of harm.

Królya

The chief of the Counting Bunnies. A quick and restless fellow, he runs the Magic Meadow, where children count bunnies before bed.

Sova

The Wise Guide to the Dream World. She knows all the paths of Artland and helps children choose where they will travel tonight.

The theme of the Children’s Territory is «ARTLANDIA: The Magical Palette of Times»

Each area of the stand is a new stop in time, and each painting is a step in the history of art and the discovery of one’s own creative voice.

Every year, I - Anna Avdeeva, a young artist from the Art-Veranda.deti studio—eagerly look forward to the "Art Russia" exhibition. It is a true honor for me to attend the "Art Russia" Academic Art Fair, having been selected through a competitive process involving thousands of participants from across the country. I spend a long time developing my projects; it is as if they are born within me. At the exhibition itself, interacting with the audience and talking about my painting is important to me. That, too, is a special event that requires preparation. As you can see, the exhibition is a real celebration for me. I would therefore like to express my special gratitude to Elizaveta Frolova—the organizer of the children’s stand at the «Art Russia Classic» fair and to Maria Menzhinskaya, the stand’s curator, for their incredible hard work and professionalism. I am delighted to be part of the history of the fair’s children’s stands. The awards ceremony on September 27th marked a personal success for me as well; my diploma will hold a place of honor in my portfolio.

Yesterday the «Art Russia» Academic Art Fair came to an end! The finale was the awards ceremony for the participants of the Artlandia children’s area, the winners of the «Magic Palette of Times» drawing contest. My kids were so happy to be on the stage of Gostiny Dvor and hear their names among the finalists! And the parents—you can’t even imagine how happy they were. To tears!!! Thank you to the organizers who managed to create such a celebration for the children! We will keep working hard and look forward to the next Artlandia contest.

Pride in young talents! On September 27, the main stage of Gostiny Dvor hosted the awards ceremony for the exhibitors of the children’s area of the «Art Russia» contemporary academic art fair. It was a bright, memorable event, a true celebration of creativity! For me, this day is an important reason for pride. Competition was huge: more than 800 applications were submitted from all over Russia, and only 90 young artists were given the honor of showing their work to the audience. We sincerely thank the curators and organizers of the Academic Art Fair «Art Russia» project: you give children not only joy, but also help them find their path in life and creativity! I congratulate my talented student, Aksinya Senichkina, with all my heart! Aksinya represented our studio with dignity at the country’s main art fair. This is a great success and a confirmation of her hard work and talent.
